Everyone desires to be their version of EXCELLENT. They don't achieve excellence for one of two reasons:
  • No true understanding of the desired excellence or how it should manifest or
  • They are in the wrong role in the wrong organization and require guidance or assistance to help identify the right path.
It is this belief that propelled Demeshia Seals to found DLRS Consulting after a career in positions of increasing responsibility at Fortune 500 and 100 organizations, most notably Nike, Inc., where she worked for decades honing her business, coaching and strategic developmental skills, she learned that mediocrity is a function of understanding not desire. The desire to put forth one's best is put simply innate.

When Demeshia joined Pittsburgh's Massaro Corporation in 2011 as the director of human resources, she put her beliefs into more demonstrable practice by collaborating with senior leaders to instill the value of coaching and workforce development to achieve strategic targets. It was this collaboration with the senior leadership team that was instrumental in enabling the company to move forward through creating a culture of data driven actionable items with a focus on personal accountability driven leadership. Because of this work and her stakeholder/customer focus with an eye on business outcomes, she was promoted and held various leadership roles in the organization including a stint as interim head of the largest business unit in the organization, vice president of Massaro Corporation and executive vice president and COO.

While at Massaro, Demeshia became a Mid-Atlantic Keystone Alliance Performance Excellence Examiner, KAPE Examiner, to enhance her understanding of Operational Excellence. KAPE uses the leading-edge Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence as the basis for performing low-cost, non-prescriptive assessments in addressing organization's unique challenges. As the founder and owner of DLRS Consulting, Demeshia uses her years of leadership experience, training on operational excellence, along with a master's degree in business administration to pursue her passion for helping people realize their potential for greatness through coaching, strategy, training, and development because sometimes good enough simply isn't enough!!!
